Articles a /an
We put a/an before a singular noun to indicate it is not a particular one, it is just one of many. A/ an might refer to ·         a single object or person: John bought a book last week. ·         a job: My dad is a doctor. ·         a kind of, or example of something: She´s a beautiful girl.
